THE COAST AS A COMPELLING BACKDROP

On the Belgian coast lies Residence Alto de Mar. The sea does not stop at the façade, but is deliberately drawn into the flat. This formed the starting point for the complete renovation that Padron was entrusted to deliver as a high-end total coordinator. Thanks to the modern minimalist style, open layout and generous natural light, a natural connection is created with the sea and the surroundings. The result is a luxurious interior in which calm, light and precision take centre stage.

After an initial exploratory meeting with Laurence Bourdeau, both client and architect, Padron guided her through the process. Together, reference projects were carefully analysed, materials and finishes compared, and choices refined until everything aligned with the atmosphere she envisioned. By selecting the right partners and agreeing clear arrangements on budget and finishes in advance, a clear framework was established from the outset.

With a single point of contact and one planning, the client retained control of the project.

Brecht explains:

“A construction project stands or falls on a good feeling. That is why we always start from the client’s wishes and expectations. Padron then takes charge of the entire process. This builds trust and results in a smooth construction process with an exclusive level of finishing.”

“Bringing calm to a construction process starts with listening.”

This approach characterises the way Padron operates as a high-end total coordinator. Every project starts from a highly customised vision, in which architecture, interior and finishes form one coherent whole. Residence Alto de Mar is a clear example of this.
